RG 682

  • Description:SR or Cyclic Reforming - Gasoline production
  • Characteristics:Unbalanced promoted Pt, Re on low density Al2O3
  • Shape:Cylindrical Extrudates

RG 682® is Axens’ new generation of promoted platinum-rhenium, mildly unbalanced reforming catalyst developed to produce high octane gasoline. RG 682® is the result of Axens nanometer technology which assures the optimum interaction between promoter, platinum and rhenium. It provides an increase in C5+ and hydrogen production in addition to an extended cycle length as a consequence of a drastic increase in activity and stability. RG 682® catalyst belongs to the RG Series Catalysts.

RG 682® can be used in place of any bimetallic catalyst in fixed-bed-reactor semi-regenerative reforming units, working over a wide range of pressures from 10 to more than 30 bars.

This catalyst is also available in low platinum version.
